Artistic Ventures in Dance is a dynamic organization of artists.
From our Board of Directors to the dancers and administrators, we are artists, dedicated to sharing bold, high-quality dance as widely as possible—creating meaningful impact at home in Colorado while engaging audiences on a national stage.

Gifts of $2,500 or more include an annual membership in The Dancers’ Society, our closest supporters whose generous contributions ensure time, stability & care for the artists of AVID.
Membership in The Dancers’ Society is based on the calendar year (January 1 to December 31) in which the contribution was made and includes exclusive opportunities to connect with our artists and recognition in our programs.
The Dancers’ Society

At the Dancers’ Society Creatives level, donations directly support the creativity of our artists by supporting the purchase of new costumes for one ballet, a professional video or photo shoot (essential for marketing & promotion), or one rehearsal period with a choreographer or stager in studio.
In addition to the above, Creatives receive:
Recognition as part of The Dancers’ Society at the Creative level
A handwritten thank you card from AVID
A signed photo from an AVID dancer

Dancers’ Society Presenters support the innovation and creativity of our artists. Donations at this level support the commission of one new choreographic work or original composition or fund the salary of one dancer for a season.
In addition to the above, Presenters receive:
Recognition as part of the Dancers’ Society at the Presenter level
A handwritten thank you card from AVID
A signed photo from an AVID dancer
A signed pair of pointe shoes

The Dancers’ Society Visionaries ensure that art remains at the center of every decision. Support at this level funds a season or tour in Colorado or NYC each year, and helps AVID build towards a sustainable future.
Visionaries will work with Artistic Director Emily Speed to create a personalized perks bundle and will receive recognition as part of The Dancers’ Society at the Visionary level.
