David McGovern

A Colorado native, David began his ballet training at the age of 19 at Boulder Ballet School. Shortly after, he joined Colorado Ballet Academy where he was invited to share the stage with the main company and performed a leading role in the Academy’s production of Copellia at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House.

He began his professional career at Wonderbound in Denver, performing numerous featured roles in the company’s world premiere productions exploring genres such as sci-fi, horror, and Shakespearean tragedy.

He is deeply grateful for all of the creative and collaborative opportunities dance has brought him and is eager to revel in it all.
